Tess's journey into wedding planning began in a surprising way. With a background in non-profit and government sectors, she managed a variety of functions, including risk management, account management, and B2B and G2G event planning. When it came time to plan her own wedding in just one month, she discovered a passion for event planning. After moving to Houston, Tess transitioned her project management expertise into the wedding industry. Now, as a wedding planner in Houston and Austin, she thrives on helping clients create personalized, beautiful events that reflect their unique styles and stories.

Zalina's passion for weddings began with her career as a photographer in 2011, but it wasn’t until 2017—when she launched her own wedding agency—that she truly found her calling. After relocating to the USA, she met Tess, and together they realized their shared dream of creating stunning, unforgettable weddings. This led to the formation of Epris Weddings. Specializing in elegant and modern weddings, Zalina stays ahead of the latest trends to bring fresh, creative ideas to her clients. Outside of wedding planning, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and can often be found at her favorite coffee shop, indulging her love for coffee.
